Setelah kesuksesan sekuelnya, Revenge of The Fallen secara komersil, menghasilkan lebih dari $800 juta di seluruh dunia dengan budget $200 juta, tidak butuh menunggu waktu lama untuk membuat sekuel keduanya. Paramount ternyata sudah menyiapkan slot untuk film ketiga seri Transformer ini, yang diberi judul amat bombastis, Transformer: Mega Metal Robopocalypse. Tanggal 1 Juli 2011 menjadi pilihan Paramount, mendekati hari kemerdekaan AS (mirip dengan perilisan film pertamanya). Walau belum ada konfirmasi resmi dari Michael Bay selaku sutradara, karena sempat diisukan mendekat dengan proyek Spiderman reboot menggantikan Sam Raimi, hampir dipastikan Bay kembali menjadi komandan di film ini. Bahkan Steven Spielberg selaku executive producer berniat memblow up nya ke dalam kacamata 3D, karena kagum dengan teknologi yang dihadirkan oleh James Cameron dalam Avatar. Walau belum adanya naskah, Shia Lebouf amat bersemangat dengan proyek ini yang digadang-gadang akan memulai produksi pada bulan Mei tahun ini. Rumor yang santer terdengar dengan proyek ini tentu saja sang aktris, Megan Fox, yang selalu mengkritik kebijakan Michael Bay. Karena ulahnya tersebut, dikabarkan karakter Mikaela Banes akan dimatikan. Namun itu hanya sebatas rumor yang langsung ditepis oleh Bay sendiri. Bahkan menurut Bay, karakter Mikaela akan memegang peranan penting di film ketiganya tersebut. Patut ditunggu kehadiran seri ketiga film ini, walau secara kualitas, sekuelnya dikritik disana sini, mulai dari cerita yang amburadul, penyutradaraan Bay yang hanya mengandalkan efek dan lain-lain. Di website Rotten Tomatoes, film sekuel ini mendapat rating tidak lebih dari 20%, sedangkan di Joblo.com, hanya mendapat rating 2/10. "Way back before TRANSFORMERS 2 stomped on brains and box office figures, Paramount had already pulled the trigger on a July 1, 2011 release date for TRANSFORMERS 3: MEGA METAL ROBOPOCALYPSE.
Mayhem master Michael Bay initially put the brakes on that, saying he needed an extra year away from 'bots (and planned to make a "smaller" movie in between), but clearly the decibel level of the almighty dollar won him over.
And now as claimed by Deadline Hollywood, star Shia LaBeouf will "likely start work in May on TRANSFORMERS 3". (I would wonder if there was a script ready, but I don't think it matters.) No official word yet from Bay on his site, other than the previous snap at his mouthy female star.
The question remains as to whether it will be TRANSFORMERS 3-D. Bay has previously dismissed the format as a "gimmick" (as opposed to movies about toys from the 1980s), but his exec producer Steven Spielberg was dazzled by AVATAR, and nobody can argue with the receipts from that movie.
Thrice-dimensionalized or otherwise, the project would have to start powering forward if they want to make next summer's biggest weekend, as they'll need sufficient post-production time for the process of digitally creating gigantic fighting contraptions and erasing Megan Fox's tattoos."

Megan Fox Decided to quit.....

UPDATE 3!!! People.com is now reporting that it was Megan Fox's own decision to quit. Sigh. The plot thickens. For those who don't really care, check out these pics!
UPDATE 2: The Wrap is confirming that Fox is out and reporting that PRINCE OF PERSIA star Gemma Arterton is the frontrunner to replace her in the third film...
UPDATE: We might have to call bullshit on this one courtesy of our own MovieHotties team. An article including pictures of Fox on set was posted by Randy the Ram at the beginning of this month. Maybe she was just chilling with her homies on set, but our insider says, "It just doesn't make any sense to me that she'd be on set even if it was pre-vis work if she's not going to be in the movie." Usually if Bay makes any huge decisions like this, he will post them on his website. If and when we get an official confirmation, we'll be sure to let you know.
Remember when Megan Fox decided to compare her director for both TRANSFORMERS films, Michael Bay to Hitler? Here's exactly what she said to refresh your memory, "God, I really wish I could go loose on this one. He's like Napoleon and he wants to create this insane, infamous mad-man reputation. He wants to be like Hitler on his sets, and he is. So he's a nightmare to work for but when you get him away from set, and he's not in director mode, I kind of really enjoy his personality because he's so awkward, so hopelessly awkward. He has no social skills at all. And it's endearing to watch him. He's vulnerable and fragile in real life and then on set he's a tyrant. Shia and I almost die when we make a Transformers movie. He has you do some really insane things that insurance would never let you do."
She went loose alright.
Bay simply responded with, "She says some very ridiculous things because she's 23 years old, and she still has a lot of growing up to do. You roll your eyes when you see statements like that and think, 'Okay Megan, you can do whatever you want."
Well now he's having the last laugh. Paramount will not be picking up Fox for TRANSFORMERS 3. This was a decision made by Bay. Right now the script for the film is being finished up and is "giving Shia a new love interest makes more sense for the story". Casting for this new lady starts immediately.
I wouldn't feel sorry for Fox. She'll still get casted in other films. More ass shots to come.

Rosie replaced Megan

Well we reported last week a rumor that Victoria’s Secret Angel Rose Huntington-Whitely was the frontrunner to replace the exiled Megan Fox in TRANSFORMERS 3, but now rumor has become fact, and Deadline is reporting that she’s officially got the job.
Whitely beat out the other two finalists, Sarah Wright and Brooklyn Decker to get the part which isn’t actually the Fox role, to be clear, but as a new love interest for Sam with the Mikaela character departing. I’m curious as to how they’re going to explain that. Is Fox in the movie even for a quick exit cameo? I kind of doubt it.
No, Whitely hasn’t acted in anything ever, and is best known for being skinny and walking in a straight line wearing lingerie, but Michael Bay films aren’t exactly known for their complex female characters. If she can run away from an explosion in slow motion, that’s really all you need.
